“Me and my friend loved staying here. Everything was in walking distance, cabs were cheap for travel elsewhere, and the neighborhood/street is quiet for being downtown. You can tell the owner genuinely takes what she does with care and comfortability in mind for her guests. Very easy communication, check in was a breeze, and the place is clean.”

Other reviews had mentioned cigarette smoke coming up from downstairs, but I didn’t notice any. 35ish minute downhill walk to downtown, longer uphill walk back, but Uber’s were usually there within 2-3 minutes of placing an order, and not very expensive to use to get around.”

“We just returned from 7 nights over the Christmas holidays. It was a perfect location as we loved walking around the beautiful heritage homes nearby that were so festively decorated. It was a quick walk to Quidi Vidi where the fireworks were held earning evening and then we could see the fireworks at midnight from Signal Hill. Close to all the restaurants as well. “It’s a strange hotel, and very much a work in progress. Good: rooms are comfy and quiet. Cost wasn’t bad. Decor is silly, even over the top, but fun. Bad: spa is really not ready.
