“Excellent room, noticeably better than most hotels -- a bit bigger, better condition, nicer beds, just all-around higher quality than most. Very clean. And maybe it was just the nice weather, but when the AC unit came on, it generally only had to stay on briefly, and then it was quiet again for a long time -- and it stayed very comfortable. “This was as advertised - a private room with a bathroom. Everything was clean. It was on the main drag but this is Rockwell City, Iowa, so the fact that it was quiet isn’t surprising. There is a Mexican restaurant one block away but it is closed Sundays. Not much else walkable but it's a small town and this is several blocks from the small downtown, which may have some shopping options. ”
