The location is far from city of Tours, needing a car to get there or relying on bus with irregular schedules. Then it’s 20 min walk to access bus or train.

“We had an amazing stay at this beautiful château in the countryside of the Loire Valley. The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations.
Having come from busy, crowded and loud Paris (which we loved as well), Château de la Giraudière was exactly what we needed next; quiet, fresh air and a small village environment. Our host and owner of this……

“Wow what a find . This place is like staying at a picture postcard and the owners can’t do enough for you . They accommodated our slightly late arrival and cooked us up a French food delight . Best food we have eaten on our whole 3 week trip together with the best b and b we have stayed in . I cannot recommend this place enough and the surrounding medical village is just gorgeous. You can even have a swim in the lake and have a dip in a hot tub . We will definitely be back and have a longer……
