“Fauna Hotel is located at mid-hill level of Valparaiso and visit to historic buildings can be done in foot. The hotel also lies in restricted area where large vans are forbidden to enter. Passengers and luggages have to be dropped off the main road and there is a distance of 10 min walk to move between the hotel and drop off location. “Though not needed this trip as relatively cool, I did expect air conditioning would be available. Would have liked in house dinner as felt unsafe outside hotel at night travelling alone. ”

“I would suggest covering the window over the door to help darken the room at night. I was in the first floor and my room only got dark once the lobby lights were dimmed. Other than that the hotel was nice. ”
