“Very nice house in a county park. Setting was beautiful and quiet. We fished from the dock and with our fishing kayaks. One of our family members uses a wheelchair. Ramp entry and accessible 1st floor bathroom with grab bars and shower seat appreciated. ”

“Water frontage was great. Kids had a blast on the water. Paddle boat was so much fun and the kayak, fire pit, fireplace and the little beach area were great, huge private lot with deer, turtles and abundant wildlife and the sandbar in the middle of the lake was fantastic. Dog friendly. Now for some things that need improvement: better bug control on the interior (ants), amenities listed laundry on site (but there wasn't), no access to a garage for covered parking/storage of gear. “Beautifully maintained and charming cabin with gorgeous views of the lake. Really appreciated how well the a/c worked on the unseasonably hot weekend we stayed. Hosts maintained great communication, even asking us to water the flowers, which we did not mind a bit, doing our part to make sure the backyard stayed beautiful during the hot weekend. Be glad to stay again next time we are at Road America, which was a short 20 minute drive away.”

“Our family all stayed at Kathy’s place to celebrate the 4th of July together. It was different than other rentals we have stayed at for we didn’t feel like renters, rather we felt like family. “Fantastic! Great communication. The house was very nice. Clean! Kitchen loaded with supplies & food provided. I was able to cook dinner a couple times using everything that was provided. Just had to buy the food. Dog friendly. We enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle boat, & canoe. The boys wished there was another tv but they survived on their phones. We even caught a northern pike while in the paddle boat! I even looked at booking it again a couple weeks later but it wasn’t available. Would……

“Every summer we get our daughters and grandchildren a few days together. Now that the grandkids are teenagers, it is harder to pull them away from friends and jobs! This location was great as it was in a rural setting and we all hung together at the property and lake. We brought 2 SUP and 2 kayaks for lake adventures. Set up badminton in the yard for continuous games. The open floor plan enable us plenty of room to have a variety of activities inside. The large dinning table was greatly……

“We could not have loved our stay here more! The house is even better in person than in the pictures- recently updated and so nicely decorated. The backyard directly on the water is incredible! Gorgeous views from both inside the house's sunroom and from the yard itself. Fire pit, grill, 5 minute drive to beach and hiking- what more could you want? We are going to make this place a yearly stay and come back many times. Thank you for having us; we loved it!”
