Good location, friendly staff

People are super friendly and nice here. The hotel is a bit outdated as most London hotels are. If you are a light sleeper, do ask for the quiet side room as possible. My room was facing the street so I get late night drunk shouting until 1-2am, 4am garbage truck collecting and 5-6am randomly starting traffic noise. I stayed here for a week and been up since 4am every day…… Breakfast was average, you could choose one main dish and enjoy the breakfast bar which contains some pastry and fruits. Same every day. Location wise, it’s within walking distance to London tower and tower bridge and close by Tower Hill tube station.

The bath tub got some stains in yellow, which was not removable by water or soap. The wifi was not workable although we had already notified hotel on day 1 (4 days and 3 nights). We stayed three nights at this hotel. It is conveniently located close to many attractions and 3 minutes walking distance to a tube station. We had breakfast included and it was fantastic. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a great two night stay at the Apex City of London. Staff were excellent, as was hotel and location. The breakfast service in the restaurant was great, too - good value considering the quality and convenience.

The hotel is very nice, and it is located in great part of town near the Tower of London. We booked a junior suite. The room was very roomy and comfortable. We had a significant issue with water pressure which resulted in the toilet not flushing and poor water flow in the shower. After two visits from maintenance and one more complete, we asked to change rooms. Unfortunately, there were no rooms available. So, for the inconvenience, we were refunded the upgrade to the suite. And, we were able to change rooms the next day. So, thank you Hotel Apex, for doing your best to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast buffet was very nice although the service was slow. Finally, there are no bellhops so be prepared to drag your own luggage.

Quick walk to tubes and 15min walk from London Bridge. 75min brisk walk from emirates stadium so was ideal as we’d have waited that long for the tube. Lovely staff. Very clean, modern and massive bed.

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean, spacious and modern room with excellent facilities. Stayed on a Saturday evening and location was convenient but safe and quiet. Very much enjoyed the little rubber duck friend too!
