I loved the hotel, the reception area is very large, with comfortable couches and chairs, and the majority of the staff were professional and friendly. I was only there for one night with a large Wedding group.
There are only 3 things that were dissatisfying to us.
1. No ice available for guests to help themselves to, and yet, there are ice buckets in our rooms?
Assuming I’d find an Ice Machine on the floor, I ended up searching EVERY FLOOR to no avail, the lobby looking around to see if it was perhaps At the front desk noticed I held up my bucket and asked him where the Ice Machine was, and was told that there were NOT any ice machines available to guests, but he could go and get me some. The only way to get ice is from the Front Desk. Why was this not brought up during Check in?!?
# 2: After I received my ice, I asked if there was a breakfast included with the room, and was told Yes, as long as it is reserved the night before. (Also not discussed at Ck In.) Long story short, I reserved for us and one other couple, after asking the F. Desk if we could cancel if needed, and was assured absolutely!. More miscommunication so we ended up with a large bill that was not negotiable!
3. Lastly, the rooms lock automatically right at Ck- out time, and if you are 2 steps from entering, the door will be locked and you’ll have to go back downstairs for another key!! Also not discussed at Check in!!
