If you’re offered room 904, ask for a change. Your door is right opposite the open stairwell for the Avairy and it’s VERY noisy. You hear all the guests walking passed your room to go and from the Avairy. You hear all the guests congregating in the Avairy both at night and in the mornings. There is a door within your room to shut out the noise but you need to open that door each time you use the bathroom so it feels very uncomfortable hearing all these people outside your room when you’re showering.
concierge was a lovely. However, I asked for local knowledge and assistance for travel. He tried to offer us a driver to and from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, stating we’d have to take two or three underground trains to get to the stadium and back, implying it would be a bit of a nightmare. And the offered cost??? £125 EACH WAY!!! £250 total!!!! He said he’d had a lot of guests already ask him the same thing that day and they booked the driver!!! One, who on earth pays that much money?!? Two, why was he not offering car shares then? Felt it was a money making tactic for the hotel! Then we downloaded the app ‘Citymapper’ and it confirmed we could get the Weaver line from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane. Straight through journey there and back, so simple! Didn’t experience any stress and it cost £4 each way! So if you’re going to a gig from this hotel, there’s your best route. Oh and download Citymapper!!! ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER for visiting London!
