Check in was terrible, both staff were trainees and clearly had to work on their customer facing skills (with just a little smile). The room was much smaller than expected, much smaller. Breakfast was good, the service staff at the restaurant were tentative and constantly made sure all our needs were met. However, the saving grace was we left our valuables in the hotel safe, they sent an email and when returning to the hotel to collect all the items were there, even cash! When returning the front desks had mroe "seaoned" staff on hand, the whole experience felt better.

The hotel is in a central location, easy to reach by public transport and handy for shopping, West End shows and any sightseeing in Central London. The room is quite small with a worn-down interior, beds are comfortable, just the pillows could be better. Nice warm shower. Everything clean. Its usually quiet at night, if there is no one racing the streets with exaggerated motor noise. The room doors can only snap shut with a bang, this can be loud at night. Overall we felt comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The cleaners were exceptional with taking care of us and at reception everyone was always friendly and helpful. Thank you

We booked a King bed and received a Queen. When we inquired about the bed size we were told that was their King size, however our friends room had a true king size. The hotel would not find us a premium room with a king bed. There was no phone plugs near the night table so phones had to be kept across the room. It’s an older hotel. Average cleanliness and amenities. Location worked for us, however we will look for alternate accommodations next visit to London.

部屋がかなり狭く、シャワー室や洗面台も狭かった。（西洋人の体格がいい人だとシャワー室で身動きができないんじゃないかというくらい狭い。またシャワーヘッドが天井直付けで困った。） 窓の開閉レバーが壊れていて開閉ができず、部屋が狭いせいもあり湿気が籠もって夜間暑かった。幸いエアコンはあったので何とか眠れたが、エアコンのせいで喉を痛めてしまった。 トイレも一度流すと水が流せるまで5分以上かかるのも地味にストレスを感じた。 半年以上前からツインベッドルームのリクエストを入れていたがダブルベッドルームだった（ダブルベッドも狭かった。） また日本様式のACコンセントもあったが、壊れていて他のEUコンセントも1個を除き壊れていた。 取り柄は比較的備品が揃っていて立地がまぁまぁいいくらい。またホテルマンがフレンドリーなのも救い。 清掃も海外のホテルとしては合格でベッドバグもいなかった。 個人的には他のホテルを勧める。

Staff is helpful in some ways. Room was not cleaned properly, trash not collected during our stay, had to tie and replace the garbage bags and place them outside the door. Shower glass partition kept going sideways. Tight elevators compared to US standards.

The location of the hotel is really excellent. We were able to explore the city very well on foot from here. Since we were out and about a lot, we usually returned to the hotel between 5 and 6 p.m. to get ready for dinner. Unfortunately, housekeeping hadn't been to our room by then, so we missed room service two days in a row. The hotel offers a charming historic building atmosphere. In our opinion, at least our Junior Suite could use some modernization. As the windows cannot be opened, the air conditioning runs continuously, which we found particularly loud at night. Unfortunately, there is only one elevator for the total number of rooms, which sometimes led to longer waiting times during peak hours. All in all, the hotel's location outweighs the negatives, and we had a great stay in London overall.
