Excellent location, clean room and facilities, within 1 block of public transportation and tourist busses, pleanty of dining and 24 hour convenience shops, i felt safe with reasonable common sense in the neighborhood, and the staff is available 24/7 and was very friendly and helpful
But some culture shocks that might be a surprise to the average American traveler unaccustomed to European hotels- the rooms, while comfortable and clean, are very small. Also, there are no lifts/elevators, and the stairway is steep and narrow. Plus, there is one bathroom to share per floor- it was always in immaculate condition whenever i had to use it though. I didnt have any issue myself with those, and these are the norm for affordable big european city hotels, but i can understand it might put one off if theyre not used to it.
All in all, i highly recommend this hotel, and would stay again
