Great location to the train station and Hyde Park. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. What we didn’t like was the thin walls and our room was under the lobby so we heard all foot traffic and roller bags coming and going. We were also basement level and there was a musty smell. Perfect if you are looking for a no frills stay for a decent price.

THE PHOTOS ARE A SCAM. This was seriously the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We booked in for 4 nights and we checked out after 1. Just to give you an insight into our experience; we arrived to find mould absolutely caked into the fan in the room, when we asked for a replacement, we were denied. We found a toilet stained yellow that was so filthy I had to go ask the front desk for cleaning supplies so I COULD CLEAN IT MYSELF. Not to mention our room window was immediately on the other side of sewer drains so every time someone in the hotel flushed their toilet, I heard a rush of water that kept me up all through the night. They refused to give me a refund for the other 3 nights we did not stay. If you value your cleanliness, your sanity or your overall well-being; PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

There were shops nearby, public transport walkable. We had booked a premium twin with a window and we got the basement room with no window. We insisted on a change and were able to get a new room the next day by helpful staff

So eine schmutzige Unterkunft überhaupt als Hotel zu bezeichnen stößt bei mir auf völliges Unverständnis. Eingetrockneter Taubenkot an den Fensterrahmen innen. Schmutzige Bettwäsche. Der Teppichboden hat Wellen geschlagen. Überall fleckig. Gebucht hatten wir ein Doppelzimmer DELUXE. Die Bilder dazu waren toll. Die Realität war alles andere als Deluxe. Wir hatten Zimmer Nr 3.

Not at all what I was picturing based on the pictures when I booked it. Floor was gross carpet with some stains, bathroom kept smelling like sewage. Based on the pictures when I booked I expected it to be much nicer. It was fairly clean and safe area. Was just deceived as it’s not what I thought I was booking otherwise it was a okay hotel and felt safe here

Honnêtement, j'ai passé un bon séjour, mais j'étais dans une chambre qui n'était pas rénovée, la chambre 06. Ce que j'ai compris, c'est que les chambres à partir du troisième étage sont rénovées, et les chambres en dessous ne sont pas rénovées, et donc un peu médiocres. TV ne fonctionne pas, pas de prise adaptative USB-C, ménage partiellement fait, mur très sale, etc. Et mon ami qui avait une chambre rénovée 406, tout était OK, tout était clean. Donc voilà, une déception.

Given the category (two stars), everything was OK. I have to mention: it is difficult *not* to get new towels every day (we managed with a letter to the service ladies) and the width of the beds is only about 70cm each (in the four-bed room). Both my children fell out of the bed once in the night (we stayed 7 nights).

Leider wurden wir stark enttäuscht, wir haben nicht das gebuchte Zimmer bekommen sondern ein sehr beengtes Zimmer mit Blick auf eine Hauswand. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns ein neues Zimmer im Keller angeboten, welches noch viel schlechter war und es roch stark nach Zigarettenrauch. Der Angestellte war bemüht jedoch konnte er uns nicht das gebuchte Zimmer bieten. Wir hatten das Gefühl das die Bilder Kundenfang sind. Es wäre gut wenn sich jemand von Expedia vor Ort das mal ansehen würde und die Bilder von der Plattform nimmt, sodass nicht andere darauf reinfallen. Wir waren total enttäuscht.

Stayed here on a budget trip with 3 other individuals. Good price for budgeting folks, but not comfortable or convenient as far as stay. No fridge, microwave. No air condition, handy during the summer. Beds were ok but you get what you pay for. Somewhat near certain rail stations which is good. Front desk relatively friendly. Overall not the best but not the worst. Will recommend for single travelers on a budget.

Perfunctory and non too friendly welcome. Previous guests’ towels left inside cupboards. Remote control on ground behind bed. No fridge. No BBC TV channels, just a few random freeview channels. Noisy above from smoking area. Certainly not good value for money. Would not recommend it.

Quite small but pretty comfortable and near plenty of tube stations. It’s perfect if you are looking for something affordable and near by plenty of restaurants

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Location We had a very unpleasant experience at The Chapter Leisure Inn. Upon check-in, we were given a first-floor room that was clearly not remodeled — everything felt dingy, stained, and dirty. It was in no condition for a family stay, and I refused to accept it. After initially being told that all rooms were booked and nothing else was available, the front desk eventually offered to show us another 4-person room on the third floor. While we appreciated the effort, the room was incredibly small — barely enough space for our luggage — and uncomfortably hot. The window wouldn’t stay open on its own and slammed shut loudly after a short while. We had to wedge a pillow under it just to reduce the noise and avoid being startled every time it closed on its own. Overall, it was a miserable and uncomfortable stay. On the positive side, the staff were polite, and the location was convenient. Unfortunately, the condition of the property left much to be desired. I would not recommend staying here unless the hotel undergoes major renovations and maintenance improvements.

I had a very disappointing experience at this property during my 4-night stay. On the first day, I discovered that a valuable personal item was missing from my room. When I reported it to management, I was informed that there was no way to verify how the item went missing and that nothing could be done. No goodwill gesture or support was offered despite the seriousness of the issue. Beyond that, the room itself was extremely small, uncomfortably hot, and not well-maintained. Throughout my stay, I witnessed multiple guests expressing frustration to staff about similar concern of dirty rooms, inconsistent housekeeping, and poor service overall. This was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I would strongly urge others to consider alternative accommodations.

The property seems being renovated but they do really need a proper operation training. The staffs were so miscommunicated and confused from Check in to the check out. But overall i enjoyed my stay due to the location
