“We booked this stay to enjoy the beautiful Cumberland lake area, fishing and exploring. EVERYTHING was just perfect the host was in constant communication with us and responded to our needs, the cabin was in the perfect location at the end of the road through our own gated safe community, we loved the hot tub, the game area and the whole cabin. We rented a pontoon and stayed out on the lake fishing and swimming, then ended the day with some yummy local food! My family will cherish these……

“The driveway is a challenge due to some pretty big potholes and being steep with a sharp turn. We had an SUV so it wasn't too bad but a smaller vehicle might have struggled more. Other than that, everything was great. We didn't fully take advantage of all the outdoor space but it is really nice. The indoor space was nice and had everything we needed. There was plenty of linens. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. ”

“We stayed 5 nights. Most of our time was spent away with family but when we were at the house the game room was a hit. Beds were super comfortable. We were glad we didn’t have to do much cooking because there weren’t a lot of pots to cook with. Downstairs was a little musty smelling Especially in bedroom closest to patio. I think that’s because the dehumidifier wasn’t working. Other than those things everything was perfect. ”

“From start to finish this was an excellent stay! The home was clean, roomy, and perfectly situated for our stay. The view from the deck and the sunroom was perfect. I enjoyed the early morning peace sipping my coffee taking in the view of the sun coming up over the hills behind the lake. Everything was just as shown in the listing (or better) and the owner was quick to respond when we had a question. We look forward to our next stay! ”

“This is a nice little house and is as advertised. Very comfortable and cozy. The view is stunning. It has everything you need in the kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood. Loved our coffee in the morning on the deck. In the evening it was perfect to grill out and enjoy a glass of wine. The outdoor firepit is a bonus. It is rustic but nice and the owner left some wood for us as well. We really enjoyed the warmth and crackle of the fire while looking out over the lake and the lights on the……

“While the home is older, you could tell it has been well taken care of! Modern touches make this the perfect family friendly getaway. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the dock. We rented a pontoon from the Burnside marina, and my husband was able to just pick us up from the dock. We enjoyed the plethora of games, and the kids were able to have a movie night, thanks to their Amazon prime account already having the Minecraft movie purchased. We have already been talking of the next time we can come……

The home is so private, on a quiet cul-de-sac with a pool and back yard shielded by a gentle hill and acres of rolling land between the neighbors. There was planet of room, hot showers, comfortable beds, easy access to town and the river adventures, and we had a lovely stay. ”
