“I grew up on NW 14th St on Oak Island. I have been back visiting family in order to help grieve a lost family member, and needed a separate space for a few days. Given that I could stay with family for free, I wanted something that was reasonably priced but still felt like luxury, and this spot is it. Only a half mile walk to the beach, and I used to walk a mile growing up on 14th. The only downside is crossing Oak Island Dr. but it’s not even that busy all the time, and often drivers will stop……

“First time visiting Oak Island and it did not disappoint. The home is beautiful, everything is new and clean plus an easy walk to the beach, we didn’t even use a wagon or cart. Late April is a great time to visit as it’s a little less crowded. ”

“We enjoyed our time at Reel Nice. The house was clean and comfortable for the 5 of us. There was plenty of space in the living areas and beds were comfortable. We loved the front and back decks, overlooking the ocean and the beach access was so close. Kitchen is well stocked and the little extras for daily living (toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc.) were helpful. We'll definitely be back again!”
