“La maisonette est à quelques mètres de la maison de notre hôte. Vue mer depuis la véranda exceptionnelle, la maisonnette est située sur une butte et domine la mer. Nos hôtes sont toujours à notre disposition en cas de besoin. L'endroit est idéal pour visiter les plages du débarquement. L'équipement général est parfait. Que dire de plus ? ”

“My son and I stayed at the beautiful Tracy sur Mer in Bayeux France recently. It's illustration as a charming little gite describes it perfectly. The cottage was so cute and cozy. It offered two bedrooms which was perfect for us. The property was lush and well kept with a lovely little garden in the back to relax after a full day. Our host Christine was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgeable and helpful with terrific ideas about what to do in Normandy.Our French is very weak but she……

“Beautiful house in a stunning location. Close to all the D day landing beaches and museums and the Bayeux tapestry. Port en Bessin is a lovely town with some great restaurants and shops within minutes walking from the house. Parking was no problem and we even managed to get our large car into the garage, just. “We had a very comfortable stay. Georges was quick to respond to our questions. Language barrier was eased with the help of a handheld translator. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the downstairs lounge area. Kitchen well equipped, although we were unable to get the coffee maker to work, but we were able to make coffee using provided French press. All bedrooms are upstairs, as is one full bathroom. The downstairs bathroom has a shower and toilet, but red lighting is not ideal for putting on……

The grounds were lovely, and the location was perfect for walking or driving to the beach every day. The hosts were charming and we felt our dog was very welcome in the house and grounds (often not the case in UK rentals). ”
