They quickly responded to any of my questions about the area, suggestions on things to do in town, and even an item I needed. The rental itself was very cozy, clean, updated, and a very relaxing place to arrive to after a long roadtrip. Perfect and private place to stay. 10/10 reccomend! Thank you again!! ”

“We had a very pleasant stay at Above the Clouds chalet. If someone is looking for a place with peaceful surroundings where the only sound you hear is that of birds and the wind, look no further. The overall feel of the chalet kind of takes you back in time, which is great, but at the same time there is some scope for improvement.The one thing I would like to clarify for future travelers which was not obvious to me when I booked is - when looking at the pictures you may feel you are booking the……

“Great place to stay that was convenient to every thing. Just a short 15 minute drive to all the attractions that we wanted to do. ”

“This property was beautiful. Has everything you need and more. The property manager was great with communication. The only con I guess you would say is that the driveway is very steep and it had rained the past few days before our arrival making it a rough trek up it. The property manager did reach out to make us aware of this and said we would need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to make it up the driveway, we did in fact have a 4 wheel drive vehicle so we had no issues. Other than the driveway……

“Furniture not as pictured. No living room rug. Trash in front and back yard. No instructions on checking in or out. No info on WiFi. No dish towels or pot holders in kitchen. No cutting board or wine glasses. Christmas dinner was hard to serve. Brought our own paper plates and cups. Neighborhood very sketchy and constant train noise and walkers in the street. I couldn’t communicate at all with the owner through VRBO. She asked me to call and get her cell number. Called her and she had us meet……

“We really enjoyed our stay and had a nice experience while visiting with friends. The front porch and backyard were very relaxing while enjoying our coffee. The home was very clean and comfortable. The owners were understanding and accommodating when we needing to change vacation dates last minute. The location was perfect and close to everything! We would definitely stay here again.”
