“We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road. The house is clean and well-equipped and the owners are very communicative. We would definitely stay here again if we are going to……

“The property was tricky to get to. Apple Maps got us almost all the way there, then the owner’s VERY helpful information packet got us the rest of the way there! The owners thought of almost everything! I loved the laid back vibe that they had too, which just set the right tone for the weekend. We were celebrating a milestone birthday, so we wanted somewhere we could do lots of activities without bothering neighbors, and this place was perfect for that!
