“This is a comfortable, small house on a gravel road in the woods near Blue Mountain State Park. Kitchen is well furnished. Property manager Tori was very helpful when we couldn't figure out how to switch from a/c to heat. A great back deck with shade from big trees. Mostly quiet--an occasional car goes by on a bigger road nearby, and one afternoon there was target practice or fire crackers. A good place to relax and get away, but the wifi works if you want to be connected.”

“Our family loved our stay in this perfect, cozy mountaintop retreat. The location can't be beat as it is literally the closest home to Laurel Mountain Ski Resort. The place had everything you need for a great time away, including wonderful little touches such as the wood stove being prepped for a fire upon our arrival. “The ice machine did not work on our floor. There were no vending machines at all in the hotel. If you wanted any beverage, i was told to go to the restaurant and get a to-go cup. It would have been nice to have been told this at check-in, along with breakfast info, etc. Calling the front desk went to 12 rings, twice. The tub was extremely slippery. I dont know why hotels even have tubs/shower combos anymore. The are dangerous. A walk-in shower is perfect.”
