The single room was the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. There were no table or chairs, and the space on both sides of the bed was very narrow. The bathroom was also tiny—the sink was only the size of a palm, and the shower just barely had enough space to stand in (and I’m relatively slim, yet I often bumped into the walls). The window curtain was broken and dusty. There was a smell of recent renovation in both the room and the hallway. The hotel had no elevator at all. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had.
The only upside was the staff—two were very friendly, while one was a bit indifferent. The hotel offers bike rentals and a shared kitchen, which is great, but bikes are very easy to get stolen in California. Mine was stolen, and I had to pay $150 for the lost.
