I last stayed at this hotel in March 2018 and had a very positive experience, which is why I chose to book it again for a one-night stay with my son in Los Angeles. While booking, I noticed the hotel now has a rating of 7.4, which surprised me—I had expected a higher score based on my previous visit.
However, after our stay, I now understand the lower rating. The property no longer matches the standard I remembered. While the staff was still relatively friendly, the overall condition of the hotel has declined. For example, we had two queen beds in our room, and both were visibly crooked and unstable—it felt like the bed frames were loose or damaged, which made for an uncomfortable night. Unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to my past impression.
