Terrible check in experience. There is no staff on the premises, only a kiosk that connects you via video meeting to someone in a call center. I waited for over 25 minutes “on hold” at the kiosk, with no indication of how many people were ahead of me, whether there was anyone on duty, or how long the expected wait was. Then the check in process itself was clunky. The video meeting disconnected at one point, and it was difficult to talk with the person on the other end of the line.
The room was fine, small but clean and recently renovated. They leave incredibly bright floodlights on at night and there are no blackout blinds, so the room was super bright when we were trying to sleep.
There were two other things that seemed scammy to me. First, the reviews on Expedia are excellent, but the reviews on Google (which I only saw after booking) are terrible. Second, we booked last minute and the room was listed at a discount. We thought we were getting a good deal. After having stayed there, it seems like the discount was a trick, because this is clearly a cheap motel, and the full price they advertise would be extremely high for what the hotel is.
Overall, would recommend avoiding this property.
