Do not get a street facing room, you hear everything. Walls are also paper thin and you can hear people next door. Rooms are dingy have a mildew small due to the fact that the bathroom does not ventilate when you take a hot shower. The moisture accumulates in the room making it humid, even when you turn on the AC. The hallways and room were dark, probably to hide how old and dirty the hotel is.

The property is on a busy street so if you room is at street level it is very noisy. The restaurant hosts private events so it may be closed to hotel guests completely. The parking is $60 a day as compared to others in the area.

Upon checking in, we had the most terrible Front Desk experience with a man who clearly should not be in. Customer. Service also failed to mention that the pool was never opened until we asked about it. Everything was shut for a private event and nothing was offered to us we then had to go back and asked to speak to the manager, who conveniently was not available, but the other woman at the front desk Tried to help us and was a lot more kind said she was refunding the amenity fee and it has now been a week later and nothing is back on a credit card. We never received a follow up no apology. As half of the reason we booked this property were for the amenities, pool restaurant bar, etc. I do not recommend this place. The staff does not care and thinks they are too cool to have any sort of hospitality manners.

In the room I stayed in, there was dust on the table and by the window. Also, the room was too small for the price, and I only stayed for one night, but the valet parking fee was quite burdensome. And the windows were not soundproof at all in the late evening and early morning, which was the worst. I couldn't sleep comfortably for even two hours. I would like to recommend a cheaper and more comfortable accommodation.

Very very noisy. if you have a room on the main road side of the building it is hard to sleep. Plus there are events most nights downstairs which makes it seem more like a club rather than a hotel. Hotel isn’t particularly clean in general. Its just a bit shabby. The sink in my room was slow to drain. Cupboard doors were falling off. I found a dog poo outside the lift near my room one morning which was fun.

Before I go into the many amazing and not so amazing things about this hotel, I wanna start off by saying I’d personally never stay here again due to the UNCOMFORTABLE bed and pillows. Obviously ambience and accessibility are high up there on my needs from a hotel. However, if the pillows seem to be purchased from the local jail or hospital and I can’t get a good night sleep, I don’t care how many restaurants or how aesthetically pleasing the decor is. Sleep is the primary reason one stays at a hotel. Besides the fact that they need to invest in better pillows and beds to transition from dorm to 4 start hotel, the hotel itself is really nice. They have so much to offer from two on site night clubs, grand entrance and lobby with a bar and a cafe. The front desk staff customer service is superb, everyone I spoke to was very kind and very helpful. They gave me a free drink ticket for the bar and got me checked in early with a complimentary late checkout without issue. It’s really a decent location to get around and if you don’t mind public transportation you can hop on a bus that’ll take you all the way to the Griffith observatory / Hollywood mountain. Great food in the area since it’s Korea town and the restaurant on site is very cute, expensive, but tasty and heathy. I really loved the decor of the rooms and the gym is nice. They charge you at the end in my opinion very sneakily $30 a day for an “amenity fee”.

This property was in a great spot within walking distance from my venue, but there were gnats all over the bathroom flying up from the drains, in the shower, and by the toilet. whenever I sat down to do my business gnats were flying on my face. Then, the windows in the room were off track so they did not close. You could smell street smells including cigarette and cigaweed smoke all throughout the room. It was nauseating. The chair in the room was sunken in so it was impossible to sit comfortably at the desk and eat any meals or write. I laid in bed for 4 days straight, essentially. Then, there were the issues with the money: As a perk of staying on the property they charged exorbitant fees for everything from parking to using the workout facility. At check-in where I was expecting maybe another $150 in charges, I paid roughly $400 additional dollars. It was insane. As a perk of staying here I was assured free entry into the night clubs attached, but when I got to the door of the venue I was asked for $45. Then, when I handed them my drink ticket (which comes with the stay) the bar tenders had no clue what it was. I was so disappointed by the end of this stay that i just about gave up. The mini-bar was stocked very well, but as a person who does not drink, but eats like a true foodie - the space I could have used to store my wonderful leftovers was instead used for hard liquor and booze. I was charged $30 additional after checkout because I ate from the mini-bar... yea.
