When I arrived, I was surprised by the $100 deposit — honestly, a bit steep. Once I got to the room, I immediately checked the sheets (something I always do), and unfortunately, I found hair on them. I also checked the bathroom, only to discover hair in the tub as well. To say I was disgusted is an understatement.
I went to the front desk and calmly explained the situation, even showing the staff member the pictures I had just taken. I wasn’t asking for a room change, just clean sheets. However, instead of truly listening, he seemed more interested in brushing off what I said and assuming the rooms were clean. I stayed respectful, not upset or angry, but it felt like he was only listening to respond rather than genuinely hearing me out. ( he did give me a new sheet though and he wasn’t a bad guy he just need to listen before over talking a customer and not assume that they’re just saying anything)
No guest wants to pay for a room and then find dirty sheets or a dirty bathroom. Cleanliness should always be the top priority, regardless of the price point. Unfortunately, my experience made it clear that there’s no real standard being upheld here.
