We love this place and have been going for years. It’s simple, old school, which is what we like. However, there have been changes that we don’t love. If you’re paying for all inclusive, why are there times (although short windows) that you can’t get a beverage? And why is staff annoyed that they have to find someone to unlock whichever cabinet holds your beverage of choice?

I would definitely stay here again. The property is very clean and quiet. The service is excellent. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of excellent variety. The dinner buffet was good but not as nice as the breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

El personal es amable y atento. Lo que más nos gustó fue que al viajar con una silla de ruedas en ocasiones suele ser complicado, pero en el hotel nos brindaron todas las condiciones para que nuestra estancia fuera placentera. Warning: you cannot go in the ocean in front of this hotel. The beach is beautiful, but the riptides and currents make it impossible to swim here. Nowhere on the website does it state this!!! The front desk staff were very unfriendly. Upon checking in, we were made to sit through a kind of orientation that was actually a pitch to go to a timeshare presentation. This was so off putting and unprofessional. Also, be aware that there is an automatic gratuity charged, one that they didn’t mention at check-in. The servers and cleaning staff were friendly. The food was tasty, but like all buffets, it got repetitive quickly. The daytime activities were lacking, but we enjoyed the live Cuban music and the karaoke/DJ. This is a budget hotel, with a budget experience.
