We arrived at 12:30 pm and the resort informed us there was no room available for us due to the resort overbooking. We were like “ what do you mean - we have a reservation!” We were then basically forced to take a taxi out of downtown Cabo.. a 25 minute drive to a very remote sister property. Upon arrival, we weren’t really greeted, instead just stood in line for about 25 minutes and were then told we would have a 2.5 hour wait until a room would be available for us to check in. This wasn’t a good start- very disappointing. We’ll eventually have to taxi back to Pueblo Bonito Rose to get picked up by our previously scheduled private transportation. We really had our hearts set on staying at Pueblo Bonito Rose - hoping to find our new go to Cabo resort. But they flat out refused to accommodate us.. so extremely disappointing.

Food is good, service is as quick as possible given the amount of guest, rooms are clean, outside area is clean & constantly being unkept, staff is nice. Pueblo bonito rosé is always a pleasure to stay at, love it

What an amazing vacation at the Rose. The food was great. The best location in Cabo with walkability to the marina and downtown. The food was excellent and the Latin and Mexican Fiesta shows were wonderful. We spend a ton of time in the lovely pool and beach. We will definitely be back.

The pools were great for relaxing and swimming, and the beach was excellent as well—especially with the provided beach chairs, which made hanging out even more enjoyable. That said, the hotel itself is pretty old. The buildings and rooms are definitely showing their age, and our room had a noticeable smell of humidity and mold, which made it feel musty and uncomfortable. Service was another downside. Don’t expect consistent drink service—if you’re in the pool for five hours, you might only get two or three drinks total. The staff takes a long time, and going to the bar yourself means waiting in long lines, sometimes up to 20 minutes. Room service is also extremely slow!!! expect to wait an hour or more, so only order if you’re not in a hurry. Unfortunately, the staff weren’t very friendly. Many acted like they owned the place, which made the overall experience feel unwelcoming.

The room had an awful smell, like mildew. The AC barely worked, had it set at 15.5 C the room never got below 23.5 C. The walkways to the rooms were dirty. Our room door had a gap up tp 1/2 inch around the top, the towel rack (in the shower by the way) was falling off the wall. Food was ok at best. The "all inclusive" drink package is very limited.

The hotel has a lot going for it — the food was wonderful, the location is excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, there were a few major downsides. The pool was too cold to enjoy, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the constant noise from delivery trucks made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. With a few improvements, this place could be great, but the noise and lack of comfort really took away from the experience.

We have stayed here for the past four years. The location is perfect with the marina and shopping only about a 10 minute walk. The poolside service is outstanding and the staff are friendly and attentive. Each night has a different buffet theme, and if you don't like what they're serving, hop on the free shuttle to Sunset and enjoy dining.

We travel to Mexico a lot! This was our first time in Cabo San Lucas, and at any Pueblo Bonito resort. First, the hotel is beautiful. It is not modern and "fancy" but more of a traditional resort in Mexico. The service was incredible, and most employees were so nice and personable. To name just a few from Mare Nostrum, Laura, Daniel (daytime), Luis, Daniel (dinner) and Catalina. Cecilia was the fill in hostess at the Sushi restaurant, she was wonderful. Carlos at the pool was a lifesaver bringing us buckets of water. David and Areli over at Blanco were both very efficient and friendly. All food and beverage was 10/10. We were there for nine nights and never had a meal that was less than excellent. The room was in a perfect location with a wonderful view. Housekeeping did a great job each day. Overall, I love this place. We have already booked a return trip with friends later this year.

The location is convenient and walkable to downtown. My biggest complaint was the lack of cleaning in the main areas, hallways, etc. Dirty dishes in the common hallways, elevators not cleaned, etc.
