Solaris has a great location on a huge beach. Big resorts on either side and nice restaurant choices just outside the resort. It was our first all inclusive experience, and we are not fans of that. But what they did was great. The kids water slide is best for small kids. The slides aren't steep and kinda boring for bigger kids.

So happy we picked this all inclusive. Very clean and well kept resort with great food options, and very polite and friendly staff. Beach was beautiful and although not really for swimming it was still nice to play around in the water a bit and take it all in. I brought my wife for her birthday and we enjoyed that it was more family oriented and not a crazy party scene. The pool was super fun and great music drinks and delicious pizza and snacks. Found out they offered a membership that gets you VIP amenities and access to special events and secret private bars and stuff to which was awesome. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The food was so repetitive that we had to leave the premises to eat somewhere else. Bathroom shower didn’t drain as the floor tile was sloped incorrectly , it was gross showering with dirty water on your feet . Broken tiles in pool.

The staff was unbelievable. I travel 3/4 times a year and can say that the staff here are very happy. Always smiling and never give anyone an attitude. This is a very big deal.. The buffet needs more variety. I don’t think we should have to request for bacon in the morning. That is a little weird. Also please add hashbrowns to the menu for breakfast. Also since the result is kid friendly you need more lunch and dinner options for kids at the buffet. Pizza at the pool is wonderful. For kids and adults… Also the pool lunch option is also great touch… Thanks we will be back..

The property is clean and well-kept. I didn't like the small window allowed for reserving the specialty dining options. The food in the specialty dining restaurants was very good. I didn't enjoy the evening buffet options, but the morning breakfast options were excellent. I didn't like the bar hours, nothing before 10:00 am. I also didn't like the pool bar closing at 6:00 pm or the pool closing at 7:00 pm. Both are too early. Overall, we had a nice vacation, plenty of kid options at this resort. The area is lovely.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean! EXCELLENT food, providing a variety of foods (although the desserts weren't the best but I am not a dessert person)! There was always pool activities going on although the night shows were cheesy and disappointing. We went into San Jose and Cabo by taking Uber which were both great places to visit! The gym was terrible but had enough to maintain light exercise for vacation. We had trouble with our room lock but staff was quick to try to fix it and provided compensation. You could not go into the ocean water anywhere close, but we managed to go in up to our knees which was good for us.

The hotel grounds were clean, all the staff at the bars and the wait staff in the restaurants were very kind and eager to please. I also used the spa and Wendy was wonderful in the spa. The food quality at the breakfast buffet was good but not so much for lunch. I was not happy with my room but only because the jacuzzi was not functioning properly the first 3 nights we were there. Tried to resolve with the concierge and reception each day. They would not offer a rate reduction. The hot water in the tub was coming out brown and the jets were shooting out gunk. This heavily impacted our stay.

I chose this resort based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was very different. I traveled with my daughter, and from the moment we checked in, the service was disheartening. The front desk staff was not welcoming, and instead of assisting us with our luggage, we were told to retrieve our own bags from a locked closet—something I’ve never experienced at any resort. Throughout our stay, we felt unwelcome, especially at the dining areas and poolside. The servers made it clear they didn’t want to serve us, and we were met with unfriendly stares and negative body language. I even had to call guest services because our room was not fully ready upon arrival. I reported several concerns about staff behavior, and although they apologized and said they would send something to our room as a gesture, nothing ever came. I'm currently in the process of buying property in Mexico, and while my Spanish is still improving, I tried my best to communicate. Still, I felt like the staff was annoyed by my presence, which was incredibly disheartening in a place I consider a second home. On top of that, the shower and sink in our room were clogged, and to make matters worse, we saw a homeless man bathing in the kids’ pool. The lack of security throughout the property made us feel unsafe. The constant stares and cold treatment from some staff made me feel intimidated and uncomfortable, almost as if I was being bullied. This was not the relaxing or welcoming experience I ha
