“A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly.”

“My wife and I work hard and needed a weekend away to relax. It was just what we needed. The place was great. Very clean and cozy. Thank you for everything. We sure will be back ”

“The home was very clean and has beautiful views from every window. Especially the large front windows overlooking the lake. The deck is large and has plenty of room to enjoy meals and coffee in the morning with panoramic lake views and passing sail boats. And at night the whole family enjoyed looking at the stars including shooting stars.”

“I’ll start this review by saying that we’ve stayed at plenty of cottages. This one was by FAR our favourite. The inside feels brand new (although the TV didn’t work for the duration of our stay but we didn’t mind we had so many activities) and the outside is a DREAM. Right on the most beautiful lake, with kayaks and a floating pad for swimming and relaxing. The property and the.lake house were so clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will be coming back! ”

“Absolutely perfect. The host is amazing, Alex checked in on us a few times and respected our privacy. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything, nothing missing. The property is beautiful. Just pack your suitcase, groceries and alcohol and you are all set. Thanks again for sharing this beautiful spot with us”

“Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving.”
