I was greeted by a front desk agent via video chat on a kiosk at the front desk. He was friendly and efficient but the lack of face-to-face service felt very dystopian to me. I started getting nervous about my stay after entering the elevator. It was dirty and horribly dim with what I would describe as horror-movie-like lighting. The walls were dented and written on like a bathroom stall. It wasn't a great vibe. My room smelled like cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room. Cigarette burns covered the floor by the bed and close the TV. The bedding seemed very clean but the comforter had several tears in it like it had been used for decades. I'm not even sure what cable provider was used but it had to be the cheapest option as a "guide" wasn't available nor did the channels show program titles. That might seem nit-picky but it's 2025 and I feel like you have to go out of your way to select such a cheap cable option. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. I probably won't stay here again. It wasn't great. I also noticed the outline of what used to be a pool in a cement lot next to the building. It was as if they had just filled the pool with cement and left it. Made me feel uneasy for some reason.
