“First of all, the check in is easy and was very well organized. The host will send you helpful information that spells everything out. The house is plenty big enough for everyone to spread out. The mud rooom had many thoughtful touches like a heated floor and plenty of seating to take off your snow boots. The dining room had enough seats for everyone in our party with extra at the island. “An incredible view of the Lake George and the Adirondack mountains. The home was clean, quiet and comfortable with excellent communication from the host. We would highly recommend staying at South Farm for anyone wanting to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks.”

“Actually had more room than I thought, we could have fit another 2 people in there! Very spacious. Photos on the website are a little outdated since the TVs have been upgraded since. There were some questionable items like piles of sheets on the floor that looked like they where not cleaned or doors to the closets that where falling off. The master bed rooms remote to the tv was no where to be found so didn't get to use that. But the communication with the host was great. Our safety of making it……

“We checked in Friday night around 6pm and the driveway and property was very dark with no lights on. Once we entered the house we attempted to turn the outside light on but it didn’t work. The bedrooms downstairs were freezing. We couldn’t locate a thermostat anywhere downstairs.We assumed that meant the heat downstairs was controlled by the upstairs thermostat but it didn’t specify separate zones so we were confused. “House was clean, well appointed and we loved that the fur babies could come! The property was overgrown, but we were there before the real “season” hits. Our immediate concerns were dealt with right away. My only real complaint is if you have a boat trailer and/or more than one vehicle, parking on the steep hill is unpleasant and you’re constantly moving vehicles. But that could just be us. We parked our boat trailer at a friend’s house in town. I loved the a/c and docks. And the view is……
