“Shane Acres is such a hidden gem. The property is beautiful and our hosts Pat and Debi were warm and welcoming. Debi’s daily breakfast was delicious. She even made her own tortillas for the breakfast tacos! We cannot say enough good things about our stay. Highly recommend.”

“I was in town for a wedding and instead of going with the room block at the local hotel, I chose this place instead. I love staying in historic homes and this one was one of the best I have ever stayed in. Not only are the accommodations on point: cozy, comfortable and lots of attention to detail, but the hosts are amazing. Stay with Keri, Pete and their dog Maggie. You will not be disappointed. And they serve a great breakfast! It was a fab getaway spot for the weekend.”

“The guest house is beautiful and well maintained. The bed didn't suit us and combined with squeaking floors (as in many older homes) kept us from having restful sleep, but otherwise well appointed. It was a fair distance from the Horicon Marsh natural area, and we prefer a closer place to stay.”
