“You do have to wrestle your suitcase up quite a few outside steps but there is plenty of room. It is worth the view from the dining area where a delightful breakfast was served. It is a cute, quaint place full of character. The hostesses was delightful. She was friendly and fun to visit.”

“It was in a great location. Very small room and cold breakfast put in your fridge. You eat in your room rather than in a central dining area. You basically only rent a room. You do not have use of the kitchen or living areas. Host was very friendly.”

“Only 5 hours since checkin. So perhaps too early for a comprehensive review. But preliminarily the Bear Lake Lodge is excellent. Bre is a good host. Physical facilities such as our room, bathroom, common areas, parking all satisfactory. The views of the lake and trees…gorgeous. Unfortunately a cold snowy/rainy day but we accept what we get. “Yana and Mike were the absolute best hosts! So warm and inviting! The food for breakfast was spectacular and the treats in the afternoon were so delicious! The bed was really comfortable, and every detail was taken care of. Blackout shades to sleep and floor heating system made the stay that much nicer. You can’t miss here!”

“My husband and I stayed here for two nights in mid August. Wish it could've been 3 or 4! Some of the best breakfast food we had in Alaska was at this BnB. Service was exceptional as well. The king bed was super comfy and they provided extra touches such as robes and earplugs, bear spray, and hiking poles for our use during our stay. The only thing you miss out on staying here is not being right in town, but its a very easy drive and it was close to Exit glacier which I also highly recommend……
