“The house was cozy, but had plenty of space. The house was clean and the bed was so comfy! It was nice being able to cook a few meals and relax on the porch. It was close to downtown and only 30 minutes from Tombstone. We would definitely stay here again.”

“I reserved this beautiful little house based on the wonderful reviews as I’m extremely obsessed with cleanliness. I was not disappointed. I would reserve “The Painted Lady” again just to spend time in this perfect little turn of the century gem. The house and decor are from the early 1900’s with all of the high end modern conveniences. The owners are absolutely the best and even left us a bottle of wine as a gift. I hated having to leave. Thank you for a wonderfully memorable family weekend. ”

“Two adults with four young adults, young adults slept in loft and in first level bedroom, not for the older of us but they loved it. Description is accurate and appreciated as far as outside steps, spiral staircase and loft ladder are concerned. Mattresses are older but house is big enough and provides all amenities and location couldn't be better -- we didn't use the car the entire time we were there, everything is walkable! Thank you for a great property.”

“We had a very relaxing weekend in Bisbee, with our HQ at The Sweet Spot. The location is fantastic, easy access on foot to everywhere in old Bisbee. The apartment is amazing! Mid-century modern with a rocket age focus, we were super comfortable and there were so many little surprises. Not just retro, but functional too! Will absolutely stay again the next time I’m in Bisbee!”

We happened to be in Bisbee during a quirky, fun-filled weekend, and Gretchen’s recommendations were spot on — we took her advice and had a wonderful time. The house itself is great: aviation-themed (which really resonated with us, as my husband is in aviation), spacious, quiet, and perfectly situated just a few miles outside of town. It was also really neat being right off the Bisbee……

“My home in Bisbee was too small to accommodate my visiting friends and hotel rooms wouldn't allow for the visit we had in mind. This vacation rental was truly like a home away from home . We shopped for groceries and were then set for the weekend. Clean, comfortable, excellent location and the kitchen had everything we needed plus a lot more. The description and photos provided helped us select the right place. Would rent again.”

Only 4 stars only because of the steps and lack of parking. But able to park fairly close. Will not work for anyone with difficulties climbing steps. Would recommend this place otherwise. ”
