To mention a few key items that made our stay perfect: the linens (!), very comfortable beds, high end equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture to relax on after long hikes in the beautiful countryside, sweet outdoor sitting area - and Dawn as our host! “Amazing stay at Walton Hall, checkin was fast and easy staff really helpful and professional. Room lovely clean with plenty of space. Free wifi strength good comfy bed could do with more firm pillows thought but that's just my taste. Bar and hotel facilities amazing good selection of beers and wines menu really good and prices reasonable. Lots to do nearby and only 20 mins to the Cotswolds.”

“Delightful place to stay for 1-2 people. I accessed the property from the Cotswold Way which took me about 20 minutes to head west off the trail, but was easy enough to find. Self check in and check out. The Pheasant Inn was about a 15-20 minute walk south. Very nice menu, tastes and service there. ”

“We enjoyed our stay and experiencing true Cotswold living! The cottage is comfortable with deep history. The garden was lovely. It was early spring, so lots of flowers in bloom. The stairway inside is a little narrow (watch your head going up to the third floor!) but the rooms were comfortable and clean. The host, Mark, provides a ton of information about the area and places to see. All around, it was a great place!”

“The cottage is warm and comfortable and its proximity to Bourton a definite plus. The only reason I put good instead of excellent is because the beds are not king sized as listed (as far as an American king - perhaps UK sizing is different) and although a dryer is listed as an amenity, there is only a washer w/ drying line”
