“We had a wonderful stay! The A/C was truly the trip saver during a hot and busy week. We were in town for a college drop-off and the location worked perfectly. In between lots of dorm shopping, we explored the area—highlights included a sunflower farm, Amish Country in Lancaster County, and even a longer drive for a beach day. The home itself was very comfortable, with a roomy kitchen and a spacious upstairs bathroom that made our stay even more convenient. This rental made a hectic trip so much……

“In August 2025 we had the perfect family vacation at the River House. My family of 9, ranging in age from 9 to 77, spent 5 nights in Joan’s beautiful house. I am in a wheelchair and have never stayed at a more handicapped accessible rental. "at least 10 long hair stocked in the Tub. Broken Button at the Jazzuci. Water was Too Dirty with many Hair. Late check out had to ask again and again, so this was so annoying. Room was NOT ready until 4:47 Pm. , BUT NO one said Sorry for that, and NO Compensation for it. Late check out until 12:30 in the morning, and this policy made customer couldn't sleep well. The Message sent from a manager to me Didn't help , even though she /he looked like to help me. it just wasted my time to message him/her. I got No Bye No good response from this guy at the end. "
