Celebrated my birthday here with my partner & enjoyed every minute here. Staff were attentive, polite, accommodating & helpful. Resort was gorgeous & offered multiple places to sunbathe. Perfect location to visit both popular beaches as well shop at the local stores. Pharmacy is also on the strip outside of the resort. Security made it easy to get a taxi if you didn’t rent a car. Check-in was a breeze - Timmi/Thiama (butchering the name) was informative & pleasant at the front desk. Any questions & concerns I had upon check-in were answered clear & concise. Majority of the food besides the bar grill adjacent the beach were stellar. Buffet had plenty of options & staff were there to serve everything so no questionable hands touching serving utensils. Specialty restaurants were even better offering Italian options & poke bowls. Now the drinks - Wowww!! Shoutout to Frank Diana & Chester A Rum punch green tea shots Frenchman they executed with no problem. If you get them at the bar, you’ll be well taken care of. Will definitely be back

The check in staff was terrible. We were not treated well bc we booked through a 3rd party. The expensive room was a partial ocean view, not the full view we paid for! The Azul staff was excellent! Overall, I'm so glad we did not book for a whole week bc it was not worth it!

My best friend and I traveled to celebrate my birthday and this was hands down the best resort I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. The dining options were great. Our favorite was Azul. Katiana was the absolute best bar tender at the infinity pool. We looked forward to chatting with her and getting perfectly made drinks. Everyone at the resort was incredibly friendly and helpful.

This property is very well managed. Well trained staff, great views, sparkling clean, good food, very, nice pools, right next to the beach. The only thing we didn't like was the NYE party, very poor experience for a high price, definitely not consistent with the rest of the experience.

Please do not pay attention to the negative reviews about this property, especially regarding their staff being unpleasant. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming (Jenny, Mikayla, & Tenvis were amazing)! The locals were even friendlier and made us feel so welcomed in Sint Maarten! Check-in was a seamless process and took all of 2 mins.The resort was well kept, clean, and offered several options during the day for a chill vacation experience. Despite the Majo side is very close, Ocean Point has 3 exclusive pools only offered to Ocean Point guests, which we enjoyed. I never saw children on the Ocean point side, so please disregard those reviews. We tried a few restaurants offered by the Mayo side but we continued to dine at Azul for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu changes daily and the quality of food, preparation, presentation, and flavor doesn’t disappoint! The Italian and poke restaurant was also nice options but Azul was the highlight every day. The views at Azul were exceptional and the service was top tier! If you’re looking for a nice relaxing and chill environment, then Ocean Point is for you! Our sea-view room was so nice and they even decorated our room for my boyfriend’s bday. Several staff gave us great recommendations for dining and nightlife near by in Simpson Bay and on the French side. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ocean Point and would recommend this resort to anyone looking for an adults only option.

Ocean Point is so relaxing and I would say the food is better than most all inclusive resorts. Definitely worth spending the extra money to stay over on the Sonesta adults only side for the privte pools, private hommcoks and edge view pool where you don’t have to wake up early to claim my spot, Easy to walk in for dinner and no wait to the Sonesta restraunts and we visited Christmas time. Azul has the best food and the amazing views. The planes are noisy for a quick minute when flying by but apart of the experience to fly over your head on the beach.. you get used to it. The resort is close to other restaurants and bars and shops which is nice and easy walk to and explore. Definitely bring bug repellent I gotten bitten up pretty bad. The rooms are nice and they even come at night to turn down the bed. They have an app that tells you about entertainment and the menu for the restaurants dailey and they have the schedule posted around the resort. Make sure to bring towel clips as they come in handy. The Maho beach is public but they do have about 20 chairs free of charge first come first serve for Sonesta guests on the beach itself. Then they have the little sand area not on the water but steps away for the beach which have chairs and umbrella but it’s shared with the Sonesta resort so they fill up fast. Taxis are about 20 to 25 each way and plan for traffic when you leave the resort.

不满意：服务设施
This property says adult only and the only place kids are not allowed is in the actual hotel rooms and the adult pool. Kids were at the Buffet, restaurants, beach area etc. The Sonesta Maho is literally next door. They definitely need to have staff meetings for a lot of the employees. The bartender at the adult pool in the evening that was bald and had a goatee had the worst attitude. The best part were the servers at the Buffett. They were nice, hospitable and friendly. The hotel was definitely dated and not with the price tag. It had old couches in the rooms and a lot of patches in different places in the room. If it weren’t for the buffet ladies, this resort would’ve gotten 1 star.
