“Initially I was feeling disappointed because this cabin backs up to the road and there is a big white house across the street so it didn't feel as woodsy as i hoped, but it was actually a very quiet road and we enjoyed having a camp fire in the yard. The cabin was not unlocked but Brittany came right over and let us in.over and let us in. ”

“It was very cozy & we saw the people renting next to us had a dog. So pet friendly. Nice place to get away for for a week or weekend. ”

“My husband and I enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Beautiful Camp on Beechwood. It was just as expected - cozy, clean, well-stocked, and a perfect location for rest and relaxation. The cabin was nicely decorated and had everything we needed and wanted. It is located so close to beautiful state parks/forests which provided us with great hiking opportunities. ”

“My 19 yr old daughter has always wanted a treehouse, but never had one. We decided since she never had one of her own, we should at least stay at one and found this beautiful treehouse! The pictures are spot on and the treehouse is even cooler in person! Everything feels so welcoming and inviting, including the touches by the host, such as the local bottle of wine! The lights on the walk bridge and the outside of the treehouse make it look so pretty at night. The remote location is perfect and……

“We had a very nice stay. Clean, comfortable and alot of information left on the heat, which was very helpful and we were very warm our entire stay. ”

“We had an excellent weekend at the cabin, very happy with the ax throwing/swings by the fire. We are used to traveling/camping so brought many things with us to make the weekend easier. - The backyard is not well lit & puddles water. Need flashlight/headlamp, rubber boots, & extra trash bags to cover the wet seats. The owner and his helpful daughter brought us two boxes of dry wood. Thank you! Lighter fluid was provided, no matches. Patio fireplace was not used: cushions left out in the rain……

“Loved the proximity to Cooks Forest. There’s a nice brewery nearby as well. The cabin had cute touches and a fairly well equipped kitchen, however the interior doors do not stay closed themselves. Also it’s close to alumber mill that is a bit noisy. ”

“My wife and I are vendors at a local event and try to stay in locally owned B&Bs as well as VRBO establishments rather than hotels. This property was one of our favorites. It was exactly what was advertised, off the beaten path, quiet and relaxing. The owner was fantastic with communication and the place was very clean and inviting. I highly recommend it. Thank you for offering this place. We'll be staying here again next year.”

“The cabin and amenities were just as described! Everything in the main living cabin was new and very clean. The beer and game sheds were an excellent retreat area. Hot tub, fire pit with plenty of seating , & grill helped cap off the stay. The hosts for this property were easy to contact & their attention to detail makes this place very guest friendly!!”
