“This is a great property. We really enjoyed the beautiful view and fireplace. Very relaxing. We took a winter getaway and so were not able to use the patio, but it looked very inviting even with snow on it. The unit was well stocked with cooking items, the furniture was very comfortable. The location is a convenient distance from Mahone Bay and Chester; great for lunch, dinner or just coffee shop hopping. Will definitely try to get back. ”

“We had a great time at the cottage. Our 2 year old grand daughter loved the s'mores by the fire. We brought along all we needed for Thanksgiving Dinner and the kitchen was so well equipped that we actually could have roasted our turkey there but we had that done at home. Frank and Val have thought of everything you might need for a great stay! Frank was very quick to respond to any requests we had and the instructions for use of the cottage were very clear. Would definitely stay here again and……

“We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. ”

“Our group of four just stayed for a week in August and had an incredible time at this property! We found everything to be true to the listing if not better, and the stunning views from multiple directions made our stay even more memorable. We were able to explore a great deal of the surrounding areas thanks to the central location, with short hops to nearby Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, Chester, and of course Halifax and other great destinations.
