Tucked privately away on 10 acres of beautiful garden and bushland teeming with native plants and wildlife, Bosk Haven is the perfect base for couples, families and friends to explore Victoria’s stunning High Country.
With the entire property to yourself, enjoy the spacious, newly renovated 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom bush retreat nestled amongst the hills just outside Benalla, in the township of Lurg around 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne.
Bosk Haven can accommodate up to 9 guests! With two high quality queen bedrooms, a double bunk room (4 beds), another room with a single bed and desk, a generous living area and a separate dining area, there is plenty of room to spread out and relax.
Recharge your batteries in the minimalist Scandi-inspired interior and enjoy the stunning abstract art and geometric shapes throughout the house while you read a book, play one of the many board games, relax by the woodfire or simply admire the view.
Bosk Haven boasts a beautiful garden to relax in or let the kids run around in while you sit on the deck and enjoy the views over the valley. Curl up with a book in the egg chair hanging on the verandah, play a game of totem tennis or watch the birds, butterflies and dragonflies coast by as you have a picnic under the trees. And don’t forget to say hi to all the other beautiful creatures that call the area home, including kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, fairy wrens, hares and rabbits while you go for a walk around the 10-acre grounds.
When you’re sufficiently relaxed and ready to explore, there is plenty to do out and about. You can stay local and enjoy the cafes, playgrounds, parks, restaurants, shops and street art in nearby Benalla (15 mins drive away). Or get out and about and discover Glenrowan (all things Ned Kelly), Wangaratta, Beechworth or the many wineries in the King Valley region. Why not check out the impressive silo art trail while you’re at it.
At night, kick back and watch a movie on the Smart TV, head outdoors to stargaze, enjoy a glass of wine around the fire with friends, or head into town for a bite to eat.
