由于抵达林奇堡已经是晚上了，在这么一个不大的老城，为了寻找适合的餐厅，前台服务很周到，主动推荐了就近的一家中国人开的日本餐厅，还提供优惠折扣。果然口味很好！

Property is very attractive. Staff is nice. Room clean & comfortable. Sadly, it feels a bit unusual, with few guests in the lobby, bar was not operational. Zero dining options. Morning coffee in the lobby is a Kuerig machine. Clean, very affordable, but lacks “energy”.

I know that the property is, I think going through a refurbishing. However multible holes in walls is not okay in a room that you are using. Bathroom ammenties - just shampoo (?) was less than ideal. (Hand soap, shower soap and conditioner are usually a staple in Hotel rooms). Price was nice.

gave us a room by a sewage spill that was already molding and the elevator did not work and the parking was in a public parking lot with the gate broken and in disrepair we addressed at the time with the hotel and expedia and so far they have only reimbursed part of the payment despite a 44 minute conversation with expedia

Travelers beware! The hotel is in disrepair. The elevators didn't work; you must take the stairs or a filthy cargo elevator, (which had wet towels and a toilet plunger in it). To return to lobby, guests had to take stairs or use a car key to activate the employee controls for the service elevator. Guests were smoking, so the 5th floor reeked. My shower didn't drain properly, and when I ran water in the bathroom sink the shower would start to gurgle and disgorge filthy brown water. The stairwells were dirty and wet. While I was staying there, pipes burst above one of their conference rooms, flooding the entire thing. The housekeeping staff was surly. The front desk folks were nice enough, but they are working on a sinking ship. This hotel is nicely located in downtown within walking distance of Lynchburg restaurants and shops, but that is the only nice thing I can say about it. Horrible, horrible hotel.

Smelled like mildew and mold. Elevator was broken, had to take stairs, not hot water in shower, water didn't drain in the tub. Ants crawling around the room and on the bed. TV channels were not working. AC unit is extremely loud.

Hotel room was a bit out of date and could not get the tv to work. Telephone in room had no service and split in two once I picked it up. Main elevators were out of service. Only used the hotel service for quick few hours of sleep before hitting the road again. Over a decent stay it was quiet and stay was very nice and helpful.

Great location for events in downtown Lynchburg. Thats about it...very old building and it shows. Initial room had a broken a/c unit. Second room, a/c was great, but the microwave and coffee maker were broken. WIFI was terrible as well. Front desk staff was more interested in being on their cell phones than assisting guests.

First the staff are friendly and helpful. The owners need to take a long look at this hotel, please take Grand out of the name, theres nothing Grand about it. The smell is the first thing that will hit you then the elevator that you hope wont stop halfway up because god forbid you get stuck in that. The rooms carpet has stains everywhere, leave your shoes on. The fridge made a ticking noise i was worried that would explode. The bathroom was a whole disaster in itself. The trash can was so rotten it had a hole in the bottom, its only use was hiding the rust it had made on the floor. The sink and tube took ages to drain and the toilets flush was so loud im surprised it didnt take off. If you have no other place to stay you can try your luck. The owners should be ashamed to take anyones money. Oh and hopefully you dont get woken up at 4am listening to people outside talking so loud you can hear them on the 4th floor. Good luck!
