“We loved the location of this property, being able to see the sea from the main window and the back drop of such beautiful green hills. Nearby village of Mortehoe has all sorts of options for eating out or takeaway and it was only a short walk to Barricane Beach where there is a great Sri Lankan curry cafe. We also loved having a hot tub!”

“Really amazing place with lots of rooms for all of us to hang out in. We especially liked the bar lounge and the swimming pool area. Great hosts who were quick to respond to queries and really helpful. Would highly recommend if you have a large group! ”

“I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. If I could give 1 bit of feedback it’s that the changing room for the pool is an open 1 room which the boys……

“Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. ”

The property was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate six adults, with plenty of room left for surfboards and all the kit that comes with a beach/hike holiday. Everything we needed was provided, making it the perfect base for our trip. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!”

“We had a fantastic vacation in the Norton's wonderful holiday home. The space is amazing - the lower bedroom was very accessible to my elderly mother and her friend and they were so happy when they saw the elevator! We had very hot weather but the flat stayed nice and cool. The location is ideal - walkable for everything in Ilfracombe and an easy drive to other North Devon locations. I would highly recommend it! ”
