Booked a room with the river view, and it does has a very good landscape view. Location is very near to the old town and walking distance to all major sightseeing attractions, very convenient. As it's not in the middle of the old town, thus the area not noisy at all. Very good with the thoughtful of offering snacks and refreshments in the kitchen all day long. You can enjoy a coffee or soda with snacks anytime. However, the breakfast is rather simple, no hot food at all (visiting during winter time!). The room size is small, as expected. Simple and with basic supplies, no tooth brush, no slippers, one bottle of washing fluid does it all, no refrigerator. While the room is clean and the housekeeping is doing good job of daily cleaning. The front staff are nice and helpful. Overall, it's a good hotel and recommended.

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the room very quiet (double-windows and blackout curtains). The hotel amenities are really good. The location is great, right next to the river and within walking distance old Lyon, the opera, Croix Rousse. There's also a large choice of restaurants around.

This hotel gets great reviews but we found that many of the rooms look quite different (older) to the images on Expedia/Hotels.com. No sitting area in the rooms except a chair, quite dark rooms, and tired pillows. And while functional, the rooms need maintaining/repairing as we had various broken fittings and older furniture. Staff are friendly and location is great - just a shame about the rooms.

It was our first time OKKO, the staff were very warm and welcoming on arrival. The club area was really nice to have free coffee/tea/juice and a light snack whenever we wanted to. We also enjoyed a couple of wines at a very reasonable price. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.

Ich habe vor zwei Monaten ein Standardzimmer über Expedia gebucht und ausdrücklich um ein Zimmer in einer höheren Etage mit Aussicht gebeten – idealerweise mit Blick auf den Fluss. Bei unserer Ankunft nach 12:00 Uhr wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass das Zimmer, das ich angefragt hatte, noch nicht fertig sei. Als wir schließlich gegen 15:00 Uhr eincheckten, wurde uns ein Upgrade gegen Aufpreis angeboten, welches wir ablehnten. Was folgte, war eine schockierende Erfahrung: Uns wurde das schlechteste Zimmer des gesamten Hotels zugewiesen – etwas, das sogar das Personal zugab! Ich verstehe vollkommen, dass für einen Flussblick ein zusätzlicher Aufpreis verlangt wird, aber nach einer Anfrage zwei Monate im Voraus würde man erwarten, dass das Hotel zumindest die Bitte um ein „Zimmer mit Aussicht“ bei der Zuweisung der Zimmer berücksichtigt. Das Zimmer, das mir zugewiesen wurde, hatte keinerlei Ähnlichkeit mit dem, was ich gebucht hatte. Am Foto meiner Buchung ist ein helles Zimmer mit großen Fenstern, Vorhängen und einem stylischen Badezimmer. Die Realität von Zimmer 514 war jedoch ein krasser Gegensatz dazu. Das Fenster war so hoch, dass ich kaum hinaussehen konnte, und wir mussten die Jalousien die meiste Zeit geschlossen halten, weil es einen direkten Blick in das Zimmer und auf das Bett (!!) vom gegenüberliegenden Gebäude gab. Das Zimmer fühlte sich wie ein dunkles, deprimierendes Loch an – ganz sicher nicht das, was einem in einem sogenannten 4* Hotel versprochen wurde.

The hotel room have funny configuration. The toliet area is separated by see through glass with wooden blind which can be see through if someone is layng on the bed. It is somewhat embarrassing. When showering the water can easily flow from shower area to toilet area. I have to mop up every night after showing. The room also lack of refrigerator to store cold drink. The breakfast is very basic but all the staffs are all super nice.
