“We imagined ourselves living here during our brief stay! We enjoyed our morning coffee wiith books on the front porch each morning. A deer walked casually up the road and into a neighbor's lawn, never-minding my coming in and out to get my camera. The home was very clean with added touches - coffe pods, bottled water, throw blankets, basic bathroom supplies. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well! The neighborhood was clean and quiet. We could easily walk to downtown. We would……

“Beautifully restored hotel. Bar with delicious appetizers, but no restaurant. Great location downtown Decorah. Accommodating staff. We needed an accessible room (at minimum bars in the bathtub) but the hotel does not have them.”

“Overall I felt the unit could have been cleaner. Stand between beds had stuff on it. Please wipe down everything in the space. Floors...all corners and along the baseboard had dust and particles in and next to them. Mat inside door was very dirty. Clean is not too much to ask for no matter where you stay. ”

“We loved this quaint location and the privacy of the individual cabins! They had all the necessities and a rustic vibe with a great location to everything in Decorah. The place was new and had comfortable beds and furniture. My only suggestion is work on the cleanliness (fingerprints were all over everything that's used a lot so it made it seem like counters and such were also probably not wiped down, hair in the shower, dishes and counter had a lot of dust, and some stains on main wall areas……
