“Great private location with very comfortable and clean camp. Gravel access road might be a challenge for someone with a car that has low clearance, but it added to the remote feel and we didn’t have any issues with our Subaru. The host was great and everything was as advertised. The family really enjoyed mornings and evenings by the water’s edge and hanging out on the deck. The lake was quiet and a fantastic place to paddle without the worry of speeding boats.”

“We loved stargazing from the deck - amazing night sky (especially with binoculars)! The cabin was very comfortable and had adequate supplies for cooking basic meals. The location is VERY remote, which we frequently look for. A mid-point for exploring both Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Bold Coast - Quoddy Head, Lubec, Western Head Preserve and East Port.”

“The locale is absolutely beautiful and private, with a lovely long rocky beach. I recommend bringing binoculars to view the many and various seabirds and seals, especially upon return to the abode; So many wonderful picture windows. While the desire for security is understandable in this secluded place, and presence of cameras was divulged in the profile, in reality I personally felt uncomfortable with them (I’m a Mainer). Perhaps if located on the road would feel less intrusive than around the……
