“Plenty of room for all of us to have some alone time, although we spent most of the time relaxing on the deck taking in the beautiful panoramic views. This is a sunny spot, and the weather was perfect all week! It could use another umbrella for shade because the deck is full sun most of the day, but we sat at a picnic table on the shady side of the house to get some reprieval. Charlie delivered lobsters every other day, and at $5/lb we certainly over indulged! The house is older, and has a ton……

“Great private location with very comfortable and clean camp. Gravel access road might be a challenge for someone with a car that has low clearance, but it added to the remote feel and we didn’t have any issues with our Subaru. The host was great and everything was as advertised. The family really enjoyed mornings and evenings by the water’s edge and hanging out on the deck. The lake was quiet and a fantastic place to paddle without the worry of speeding boats.”

“Overall, our stay in Lubec was amazing! The location was fantastic - beautiful views, and less than 10 minutes from town. The house was lovely and well supplied. The lobster pot was perfect and the kitchen was very well stocked. There were a lot of flys in the house during our week there. “My husband had to work in Machias, so we had the opportunity to stay in this spacious house with our four kids. Although the weather wasn't ideal, we hardly noticed because the house was filled with an abundance of games, puzzles, and movies! We had a blast the entire time we were there.
