“The house was nicely decorated for Christmas including a Christmas tree. I had a large family arriving at different days during the week. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a bathroom in the downstairs area. I would definitely stay there again!”

“Had a great time at the house! We were in town for the Bourbon trail and Keeneland. The house was perfect for our group of 8 and remote enough that we got a great bang for our buck while still being able to get a bus for the bourbon trail. Plenty of room for people to sleep and the game room was really cool. The Captain’s quarters (master bedroom) was amazing! I’d definitely stay again. ”

The location is great, very close to several distilleries and downtown Bardstown, and amazing views right outside the door. Any questions we had the Mashburn’s responded immediately. Everything was clean and well thought out with lots of games to play. We are already planning our next trip and will for sure be at one of The Mashburn’s locations. ”

This place is a disgrace to any rental,and if VRBO cares about a good reputation they will remove this place immediately !!!!!!! W e walked in turned around and left immediately, we couldn't stand the smell it smelled of mold and mildew horribly. DON'T RENT THIS PLACE.”

“What a great find! We loved our stay. The cabin was exceptionally clean (you can't tell they allow dogs) and in a serene area. We loved having the pond (and floating living room!) and caught some fish. My son enjoyed playing football and running around all the grassy areas and using the firepit for s'mores. We even ventured through the small woods to the shores of the Kentucky River which is just behind the pond. The pictures don't do this cabin justice. It's about a 25-minute drive to downtown……
