“My cousins and I stayed at this property for a family reunion in Macon. We were all super impressed with the house!! The beds are all queen beds and super comfortable. Everything in the house is brand new!! It is beautiful and it was super clean. The host went above and beyond with communication to make sure that we knew where everything was and how to use the pull out bed in the living room. “You could not ask for more beautiful place on the lake with walking paths and privacy. The accommodations for enjoying the outdoor space was great. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing. We caught several small fish but we eventually found some large Crappies bass, and catfish. It was one week of total relaxation and heaven.”

“This "Little Blue Cottage" is wonderful--so much so that after our first stay in June, we re-booked in July on our trip back home. Tastefully decorated with all the creature comforts. Kitchen is great with a nice Keurig coffee maker with pods and creamers. Erica has done an excellent job managing this. She was always available for my questions and was great getting back to me. Next time we are in Kirksville, we will book our trip around the availability of this cottage!!”

"I turned into the parking lot of your hotel and I felt this was not the right hotel for my family. The parking lot and outside was not appealing. So we did not stay. Assuming you are a family owned business you need to improve the outside as I did not even wish to look inside to see your rooms. We stayed at Super 8 next store to your hotel. The outside of the super 8 is neat, clean and new looking. The inside rooms of Super 8 was very appealing. Not great but a good place for me to take my family for the cost. The value was worth it. I wish to thank you and the manager for your understanding refunding my money to me. "
