The first night of our stay, we were surprised with the visit from Madison police they were there for a disturbance between a man and a woman. The second night we were there we were awaken at about 1:30 AM for a fire alarm. Then we were made to go outside until all was clear. Never any explanation as to Why the alarm went off.

Negatives: not enough towels (2 beds, 2 people but only 1 towel?), overall a bit run down and the staff was pretty unhelpful. It didn't help that there was a fire alarm at 2am, and no staff around to assist. Breakfast was pretty average, not horrible but not great. Positives: appeared clean, other than the fire alarm, fairly quiet.

Our room was gross. Stains dripping down every wall. One staff member so rude. Others were not but this particular person should definitely not be the face that greets guests upon their arrival. Major price gouging for graduation and an obviously dirty room,l Regarding staff member: evening guest clerk on 5/9 and 5/10. Tried to tell me I didn’t have a reservation. Then that I had the wrong hotel. When we asked for another pillow she literally said No.

The facility is nice and clean, but the lighting in my room could have been better, rather dark with only two lamps and no overhead lighting in room area. My room did not have a blow dryer but the desk attendant was nice enough to let me borrow one.

The bathroom was filthy. We kept finding hair that wasn’t ours everywhere. The shower was mildewed all around the edges. The tv remote was gone and all we got was a shrug and a ‘we’re full’ there’s nothing we can do’. Plus my whole family is now sick after getting home. I’m very disappointed and will never stay here or at any Wyndham hotel property again.

Our room only had two lamps and was dark. Each bed only had two small pillows. When we called to ask for more they said they didn’t have any. The breakfast was not good. The eggs were dry and cold like they had been made the night before. The breakfast area was dirty including the chairs, table, and walls. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Will NEVER stay at another Baymont because of this hotel. 2 tiny lights in the pool were working. It was SO dark, it was creepy. Key card wouldn’t unlock it so it was constantly propped open. No workout equipment worked at all, along with no doorknob on the door. The first room was SO smelly (stale smoke in a nonsmoking room). The second room was SO dirty (have tons of pics of that). We were supposed to stay 4 nights but after the first we were out of there! There was zero upkeep anywhere. Don’t be fooled by other reviews or images that are clearly very very outdated.

Room was filthy, holes in curtains, no ice bucket, one washcloth, one hand towel, when we asked housekeeping for another SET of towels, we got two more body towels. No bath mat, walls were DISGUSTING with ADULT sized handprints on them at bent over level…yes, come to your own conclusion. Huge clump of female length hair smeared on the inside of the shower wall, shampoo bottle had “BODI WASH” written on it in permanent marker, whole hotel was hot, humid and smelled of urine, someone kept trying to open our door several times in the middle of the night both nights, our bathroom smelled like drugs (not marijuana) the morning of the 28th when we were going to leave, I got so sick from the overwhelming smell. Carpet had not been vacuumed in who knows how long based on the garbage on it and mysterious white stains…ick. Chunks of wall missing in bathroom and again, dirty walls, afraid to touch anything in here. Water in shower was perfect temp turned all the way on. But when I was in for maybe 2 minutes, it would suddenly turn scalding hot as if someone flushed the toilet, then freezing cold, then normal, again. It would do this maybe 6-7 times in a 10 minute shower!!! The room smells like unwashed rear end, it was just an awful stay all around. The last time was a lot better and a lot nicer, aside from not shutting down the pool when someone’s child pooped in it. Unfortunately, many events in town, and this was the only place left with reasonable vacancy.
