“We come to this cabin twice a year and always love it! Spring summer and fall are beautiful months to be on clearwater pond. The perfect getaway! ”

“The house & deck were very nice with beautiful view of the lake. It could use some typical amenities like tissues, hair dryer, etc. The main problem is getting to the house. It’s a 3/4 mile drive down a narrow stone road riddled with potholes and bumps. I was afraid I was going to do damage to the rental car and that’s driving at or lower than the 15mph speed limit! ”

The views and water are incomparable and the cabin itself has all of the modern conveniences while maintaining a rustic charm. It is one of our favorite places in the world and hope to be back next year!”

“We really loved our stay at this woodsy Maine cabin in Chesterville. It had such a warm & cozy feel, even though it has such high ceilings. It's also in view of the small lake, with a huge wrap around porch & plenty of places to sit & look out. The indoor fire place/wood stove was wonderful & we used it daily. Wood was stocked. Lots of little touches were so fun, like the s'mores supplies & games, puzzles, binoculars, books, lil nooks to relax, etc. We would definitely return!! Just be careful……

“I needed a quiet, safe place to stay while I had some business in Belgrade. This was such a sweet little spot, with great cove access, amd the bedroom had a great view of the water. This is a small, simple place that was well-appointed and absolutely spotless- a perfect hideaway!”

We’d already been at the coast and were headed to more mountains and hiking inland over the rest of the week. We arrived and found they had put the paddleboards and kayaks away for the season. The neighbors on the cove still had lots of water toys set up. When we called, we were told that they put the Paddleboards and kayaks away October 1st. There was no mention of that in the listing and……
