“A very nice place to relax and just be. Run by very nice people who were always helpful and friendly. Great pizzas on offer were a real bonus, as we're firepits and wood being available. Will most likely be back in future. ”

“When we arrived a notice said we could order logs for the hot tub but on contacting the person he was away until the following week so a bit disappointing Also it stated shampoo body wash etc would be available but we had nothing The overall experience was brilliant just a couple of little tweaks needed ”

“Overall impression was that it was lovely, a beautiful position with views across the valley. The cottage was obviously well maintained and with everything had been thought about. There were lots of places to go and to walk all not far from the cottage. Some lovely pubs close by serving good food and dogs welcome. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! ”

“This was our third visit (possible fourth) and it was a pleasure to return. It is an excellent spot for those who love nature and walking, there are many great walks from the door and especially when you have collie dogs as we have who are happy to roam in the hills for hours. Lots to do in the area and good food to be had in local pubs. The property is always comfortable and spotlessly clean. We love that the property is surrounded by the big meadows even if the grasses and dandelions were……

“No email/text or phone call to communicate the stay was cancelled. Messages on the app that i didnt know i needed.Travelled almost 2 hours in poor weather conditions with a toddler, to phone the place and the ‘office be closed’. Phoned help line which is in india who just kept telling me to wait 1 hour. 3 times!!! ”

“Fantastic property which has everything we needed, warm and cosy but with an all modern interior Fantastic views,we saw plenty of the wildlife ,sheep with their lamb's also birds of prey hoovering just in front of the window, bats at night, and the occasional military jet or plane buzz past. Friendly owners who are on hand but don't invade on privacy. we really enjoyed our stay while visiting the area ,we will definitely recommend and stay again. ”

“We stayed here with the family for my dads 60th birthday, there was 10 adults and 4 children and everyone had the most amazing time. The property is beautiful and located in the common that provides wildlife and stunning views. The host Catherine was really helpful and the communication was great! The neighbours Anne and John and their son recommended a stunning walk to watch the sunset and even let us into their home to see the local badger out of the window. This was honestly the best UK……
