“Overall a wonderful stay and would absolutely come again! Beautiful resort with absolutely stunning views and rooms. Spa is fairly priced and excellent. “Wir hatten zuerst beim Empfang einen schlechten Eindruck da wir ziemlich in unser Zimmer gehetzt wurden. Die mitarbeiter wurden aber die nächsten Tage sehr herzlich und haben uns sehr gut umsorgt. Das Frühstück mit dem Ausblick wurde hervorragend präsentiert und man hat sich alle Mühe gegeben das wir uns wohl fühlen. Die Zimmer sind „okay“ der Zustand leider etwas heruntergekommen. “Top-notch service! Its the best view of all hotels in Ella! The service is just amazing, Priyantha Takshila and the crew helped us with everything! So warm and friendly! We had some questions and then we got upgradedto the suite ith private jacuzzi and it made our trip even more amazing. “This place is incredible! We were a little worried when our driver initially dropped us off with our bags at the bottom of the steep road and said the road was too tight for the minivan to get through. We walked a little further than we should have, but we found the hotel and as we were escorted to our room our mouths dropped. The room is incredible! We were 3 people, but this place was clearly meant for 6. Two king beds on either side of a little staircase that took you up to 2 single beds……

“We had the BEST time at Ella Retreat! Sadly on 34 hours long but this hotel is seriously beautiful, better than the pictures. You need a head for heights on the (slightly hairy) tuk tuk ride up the mountain, but once you're there this is a haven that you simply cannot afford to miss on your trip to Sri Lanka. “Stunning views, especially of the waterfall. Spacious and clean room. Our balcony was extra large! They served a very delicious breakfast for a good price. We actually enjoyed it more than when we ate in town. The internet was a problem though, it did not work or was so slow it was unusable, but thankfully we had a hot spot to take video calls for work. Would definitely recommend as long as you don’t need internet. ”

“这个酒店是我们这次旅程中最难忘的酒店！当我们晚上7点到达时，发现酒店在山底下，要穿越3-4km的山路，而且要坐缆车下去！太惊险了！而女儿则兴奋得无法形容！早上起来一片光明，你发现你居然睡在森林的溪边，巨大的玻璃房，与森林融为一体！早上可以看见5-6只孔雀在树枝上求爱舞蹈！超棒的待客如宾的服务，虽然酒店只提供素食，但讲究的西餐礼遇，加上星空与篝火，伴着印度的音乐，确实是极致浪漫的！当然也要有思想准备：不要太晚到达酒店，不要依赖WIFI，不要总担心充电问题，不要荷求热水服务，就当来大自然寻求冒险与浪漫！”
