Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again.”

“This studio unit exceeded all our expectations. The drive to Pukeiti is an experience in itself, then the expansive, immaculate, gardens and facilities are magnificent. That there's a cafe on site, and you are able to stay in this beautiful garden overnight, is hard to fathom and an absolute privilege. “The property is per photos. It's location can't be beat! Close to the main part of town, forgotten highway and great dog friendly bush walks are a stone's throw away. Be mindful that the property is not fenced, as per photos, but this was not an issue for our 2 dogs. As mentioned in a previous review there is no curtain/blind for the lounge which would have been nice. Beds comfortable, shower fabulous, everything in good working order. I can't speak highly enough about the property manager!……
