We got to go on a nature walk on part of the Shades of Death trail, and marveled at the natural rock formation of Boulder Field. Thank you for being a great host! ”

“Me and my friends just spent our New Year's here for two nights. The man cave lives up to its name-- we spent a good deal of the weekend playing pool, darts, and card games, used the grill, and were just a few blocks off from some great food and liquor stores. I'd imagine any sort of group would enjoy coming here, though, given other advantages like access to trails and monuments in historic PA. Everything worked just as we wanted it to, and Mary's filled out the space to create a great place……

“A scant quarter-mile walk from the cabin to board Ole Smokey. A spacious property, bordered along the rear by the small river feeding Knoebels’ Crystal Pool. It has a small but nice two-seat veranda right at the water’s edge, an excellent place to take morning coffee. The interior dining area has a large window facing the river. Furniture, carpeting, curtains, floors, trim, ceilings, walls - all clean, nice, and in good repair. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Plumbing fixtures……

“Matt was very professional and made check in and check out very easy. Communication was clear and easy. The house was beautiful. Very modern layout with a lot of nice details. The main room is so well lit with all of those giant windows. I wouldn't change a thing.”
